Deuce von Dorfen is a wonderful and very handsome larger sized 2-3 year old German Shepherd. This big, beautiful boy with the even bigger smile is quite unaware of his size - he definitely thinks he is a lap dog - from the way he tries to nuzzle himself into your lap. Mid-energy Deuce walks wonderfully on leash, but might charge ahead when he wants to get to a certain spot. He does listen very well to corrections and is highly trainable. Deuce is very confident and alpha, he meets dogs stiffly and might react to them, but will sit attentively if you tell him to. He learns commands quickly, already knows “sit,” and will undoubtedly learn many more under the guidance of an experienced owner. He is very patient and will sit next to you for hours – he especially loves it when you massage his big, fluffy head. Deuce is perfectly happy walking next to another dog, but has no problem telling them to back off when they meet him face to face. He would very much like to be the only dog and the apple of your eye in his future home. Come down soon and ask to meet him; this big boy will definitely win you over.
